Why Everybody Loves The French Riviera – In 34 Pictures

Growing up in Denmark, the French Riviera was a legendary vacation destination that everybody talked about. Everybody had been, everybody wanted to go again, and everybody loved it!

We have both spent quite some time in this picturesque destination, and we thought it was worthwhile to give you all a good taste of what it actually is everybody falls in love with. Ready?

We have collected 34 pictures which we believe show exactly what it is that makes people fall in love with the French Riviera – year after year! Also known as the Côte d’Azur, the name pays tribute to the beautiful azure-blue seas, whose vibrant colour is only matched by the clear blue skies. Then you have the marinas, the yachts, fast cars, luxury living, the beaches and much, much more. You name it – the French Riviera got it!

We have also written a dedicated post about the place we’ve personally spent the most time in – namely the Principality of Monaco. Nick lived there with his family for a number of years, and nowadays, it feels like a second home to us. Read that post to get all our favourite things to see and do in Monaco! It really is worth a visit, even if you are short on time.

We certainly hope you enjoy what you see. If everything goes right, our gallery will inspire you to go explore the French Riviera for yourself. And if you have already been, maybe the nostalgia will bring you back! Our hope is that you will fall in love with this beautiful coastline, for the first time, or all over again.
